Client Mess Magazine | Project Sustainability issue X
I worked with the Editor in Chief and Creative Director of “Mess Magazine’ to completely redesign their magazine for issue 12, which was to promote sustainability in fashion.
The content included interviews and articles from some of the most respected names in fashion, design and photography.
To reflect the beautiful imagery I decided to create a frame for each spread. I used a basic skeleton of 3 columns for the text and pictures but varied the size and position to replicate the fact that high end fashion, whilst based on a basic structure, was free with regards to the ultimate finished product. This freedom was also reflected in areas of white space.
The final printed issue was over 200 pages with a perfect bound spine.
